(Sorry for the delay in posts, internet has been non-existent for over a week.)
Charleston, SC is known as The Holy City because of its over 400 churches. We didn’t visit any. But we did visit Magnolia Plantation which is one of the oldest plantations in the South, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  However, they don’t allow dogs so we saw the big house from a distance and a very friendly pony was very interested in the dogs and vice versa.

We only had a short stay in Charleston and the first day mostly consisted of working and rain.  We did go on a nice walk around the park with Cece and Odie, always on the lookout for alligators and other wildlife.

The altimeter on my phone registered a whopping 9ft above sea level! Which explains the water everywhere!
Normal things like shopping for implements also happens while living in a camper for a month.  (Note from Alan: “Publix Grocery in the area had some fantastic shopping carts; they practically pushed themselves…”) That’s a well-deserved camper beer.
