My name is Marykris. My friends call me MK. I raised my only child while single and I am still single but dating.
When my boy was a senior in high school, I decided it was time to do ME! I am a beginner camper and hiker and started at 49 but I won’t say how many years ago that was!
I am curious about everything outdoors and am continuously “called” to hike or camp or to any TV show about survival. So one day I just started!
After a short time of solo experiences, I adopted a female black lab/akita/chow chow companion. Her name is Cece, she is very protective and you’ll see her in nearly every photo or video.
I’ve accumulated stuff and experiences every step of the way but am completely self-taught. I was always searching through sites and videos for help and it was quite challenging.
So I would like to share my beginner thoughts and products with other beginner solo campers wanting to experience the great outdoors! I hope you find some of this helpful and I would love to connect with you! Send me any comments or questions but please, remember, I am also a beginner!
